Zombies Galore: Some of the fabulous zombies I worked with yesterday for the commercial shoot for AMC's new tv series, "The Walking Dead." ©2010 Artist Jane Bush
Yesterday I fulfilled one of my goals of becoming a zombie. Not literally, of course. The gathering of the dead happened at St. Louis’ premiere comic book store, Star Clipper, to promote the brand new TV series for AMC’s The Walking Dead. For those of you who don’t understand the connection, The Walking Dead is based off of the success of the graphic novels of the same name by Robert Kirkman. Between multiple takes of eating fake brains (a cauliflower head dipped in red goo), attacking a store employee, and shuffling around the store acting dead, I snagged some photos to prove how awesome this event really was. You can check out the entire gallery of photos on flickr here, and be sure to tune into AMC on Halloween when the pilot for The Walking Dead airs 8 PM CST/6PM PST. The commercial will air in the St. Louis and metropolitan area during the pilot. If you care to see what I look like as a zombie complete with curlers and a leopard print housecoat (sexy, I know), check out the photo in the online article featured in The Riverfront Times. Here are a few more photos from the commercial shoot yesterday.

Zombies love their coffee, too (hey, it takes a lot of energy being dead)! Copyright ©2010 Artist Jane Bush
