Tour pt. 2

We arrived at the venue around 6am. It was cold and raining but thankfully we sat under a roof. We spent the day just hanging out and going to Starbucks constantly to either get warm drinks or use the toilet.

Jade and Fritch walked by us at some point, they didn’t say hi though.
We ran into Hunter at Starbucks but let him be… Met him again a bit later on but he seemed moody so we basically just said hi and kept walking. Adam walked by us a couple of times and as usual he was the sweetest, saying hi and asking how we were… I love him.

We got interviewed by Kerrang who will probably quote us saying something stupid but it was fun. The day passed by slowly but finally it was time for doors.

We’d talked to a girl who handled the treasure Hunt since she’d collected our email addresses and when we got to the barrier she basically pointed the vinyl out for us cause she thought we deserved it. Camilla got her hands on it first and after a talk to the temp. Tour manager (since Smith is nit with them this time) her and I headed Backstage to meet the band.

We waited around for about 15 minutes, Adam walked by us without knowing what was going on and looked at us with a very surprised look but told us it was “As it should be” that we were the ones getting to go backstage. He left again and said he’d pretend he hadn’t already seen us when he would come back. 5 minutes later Adam returned with Davey and Hunter in tow.

Hunter still seemed moody so we spent most of the time talking to Adam and Davey. We actually introduced ourselves which was kinda the first time after following them for years (ive only introduced myself to Adam in the past) Well I introduced myself to Adam again, shaking his hand and before I even got to shake Davey’s and tell him my name he goes “Hi Zoe” I kinda died… Alot!!! I shook his hand… He has the softest hands in the world! Shook Hunters and then we chatted a bit more and got a group picture before hurrying back to the front row to catch the last of Dear and Departed.

The gig was great, Davey kept making eyecontact with us. They had alot of technical problems but it was still amazing.
Afterwards we spent alot of time just hanging around before heading to the bustation and then heading to London where we are waiting in line now.
