I am a huge fan of The Hunt for the Worst Movie of all Time on Videogum, which produces much snarky commentary as Gabe searches for the worst movie to have ever been made. Recently a number of trully craptastic bands have been brought to my attention, and I feel drawn into an epic journey to find the worst musical act of all time.
BUT OH! I hear those English majors out there say. In order for my journey to fulfil the requirements of an Epic, there will need to be divine intervention! To that I can only reply, THERE WILL NEED TO BE LOTS OF DIVINE INTERVENTION FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO SIT THROUGH J*’s ALBUM.
And so, I will be taking suggestions from you lovely people about which bands and singers you consider to be the worst of all time. I shall then review them, and provide a highly balanced and unbiased critique. Or basically, you know, rip them to shreads and create lulz at their expense. Homegurl Shannon knows what I’m talking about.
NB: I’m going to have to scratch people like Miley Cyrus and the J Bro. They’re not *real* musicians, they’re basically children’s entertainers. Its kind of like trying to describe the Wiggles as the worst band ever. They’re nottrying to be good. If you’re an adult and you listen to any of the following artists, you probably need help. Its time to step away from the Disney Channel.
What I classify as “Children’s Entertainers”: Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, The Cheetah Girls, Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff
