Jake Reed spends a lot of his time pounding the skins for London-based pop-punk threesome TAT. But his musical interests don’t stop there.  He’s also got an interest in synth pop and electronica as demonstrated by his other project, Tiger Bicep.

Tiger Bicep’s music is a mash-up of drum beats, synth lines, distorted vocals and bleeps and bloops that sound like they come straight out of an NES game. The result is bouncy, well-layered and a lot of fun.  It makes you wonder exactly when Seltzer is showing up with your airship, which dungeon you’re going to find the Master Sword in and various other geek references you can come up with for yourself.
