Coheed and Cambria – Here We Are, Juggernaut

May 3, 2010 – Coheed and Cambria premiere the video for “Here We Are, Juggernaut” from their new album Year of the Black Rainbow, released on Columbia Records in April. The video is directed by Josh Forbes, who has previously worked with artists such as Alkaline Trio, The Fray and Cold War Kids, and alternates between the band’s performance and a scenario based on their long running conceptual story.

Tackling the storyline head on in this prequel to the Armory Wars, told over the previous four albums and comic book series written by Claudio Sanchez, it is the most direct depiction of the story in a C&C video to date. Elements and clues caught by die hard fans run from fictional logos and companies from the comics on signs and graffiti, to inclusion of family and longtime crew members as extras on the streets. Even author Peter David, who with Claudio Sanchez co-wrote the full length “Year of The Black Rainbow” novel that accompanies the deluxe version of the album, has a small cameo.
