Beautiful pics of Adam,Tommy,Sasha,Terrance,Brooke and Taylor…Where are Monte and Longineu?
The photographers had to shoot from back at the soundboard instead of in front of the stage, and the distance, combined with the low red lighting they used for much of the 3 songs photogs were allowed to shoot, probably made it hard to catch them (especially Longineu, in all the photos I’ve seen from this show it looks like the drum riser is in complete darkness!)… you can see in the photos here how dark everything behind Adam (outside his spotlight) was.
The problem with soundboard shooting (although I’m not complaining because it was a wonderful opportunity to photograph him) is that you basically are working with one angle, and you pick up on more side lighting when faced front and center. The spotlight was wonderful for Adam, of course, but when it came to his back up dancers it was the luck of the draw as to whether they were in the light or obscured in partial or full darkness outside of the spotlight. The same with the band as well. I couldn’t get any drummer shots or any one in his band outside of Terrance.
I love the pictures.You really managed to capture great moments in the concert

Always love to see high quality photos of Adam and crew. They are all great and my favorites are … Ok I went back up to look for my favorites and like them all so can’t decide:-) Great job and must have been so exciting to be able to take those photos. Hope you got to see the whole show…
These are beautiful pictures of a beautiful man. Adam and his band and dancers compliment each other with their extraordinary talent. I especially love Adam’s Voodoo outfit and these brilliant pictures show great detail. Anyone who hasn’t seen this show, really needs to. It is an experience you will never forget. Nothing I’ve seen compares with it.
Wow! Gorgeous photos, Jane!!! I love the way you’ve captured not only the raw sexiness of Adam Lambert, but also the expressions on the faces of his dancers. They often comment on Twitter that they love their job, and I think that really shows in these photos. :)
